We were so excited to finally be able to capture Maria & Christian in their gorgeous wedding attire. Orginially, we were planning on capturing their wedding. But, thanks to Covid, they had to reschedule their original date and then it got moved to another. As life happens, the plans fell through. It was important to us that we were able to do something for this amazing couple. They had been on such a journey to get to where they are.

Maria and Christian met in Italy right before the world shut down. Both in the Navy stationed in Italy, they spent so much time together. Soon they eloped while they were there. But, it was important to them to have a formal wedding surrounded by their loved ones. After deciding to knix the second date, they had a last minute wedding ceremony with their family and friends. But, with it being last minute, they didn’t get professional photos.

This session felt full circle. This amazing couple that had a romantic elopement having a elopement style photoshoot at the gorgeous Agecroft Hall. We were all so amazed by the lush gardens and the stunning view of the James River. I am so happy with how these photos turned out.

Even though their plans were changed, the one thing that did remain: their love for one another.
