Wow, it has been so long since I have done a year in review. Since it has been a number of months (maybe well over a year) since we’ve shared a blog, it felt fitting to do a year in review. 2023 was a big year for us. We welcomed our baby girl in February and spent some time soaking in the newborn season until the spring. It has been an adjustment with our work life having a baby, but I wouldn’t change it any other way. This past year we hit two goals that we had for our business: capture more elopements and capture more weddings on 35 mm film. After being in the industry for so long, it has been so nice to be so excited about our work again. We have always loved it, don’t get me wrong. But with anything you do, sometimes you get lost in the routine. Adding film to our packages has been so life giving, and anytime we get the scans sent to our email, it feels like Christmas morning.

2023 was a beautiful year for our business. We met so many amazing people and we were able to capture our past clients with our fall / spring minis. This year I hope to continue to capture more elopements and capture more events on film. We have a long list of things we are hoping to work on our house. Our life has been filled with so much joy since welcoming Mabel, who just turned one a few weeks ago.
