It is hard to believe that this session nearly a year ago. It is also hard to believe that this couple has been together for a decade, and I have been there from the beginning taking their couples photos. Elizabeth and I met in our college years. We bonded over our love of indie music and coffee (we drank too much coffee back then). I met Cody spring of 2012. He was beardless then, but just as sweet and kind. I knew they were a great match together. Fast forward a few years later, and I got to capture their wedding!

One thing I love about being a photographer, is that I get the opportunity to capture so many different seasons of lives for my clients, friends, and family members. It gives me chills thinking that one day their kids, grandkids, and generations to come will see these images.

It had been years since I have seen Elizabeth and Cody. It felt like no time had passed during our time together. That is the best feeling. Years, days, hours may pass, but your friendship stays the same.
