2022 was a big and busy year for us! We hit so many business goals that we set out. One of the biggest goals reached was to enter in more of the elopement/ micro wedding scene. A big thanks to Chantal from @elopeRVA who really helped us with that pool of clientele!

Outside of our business goals, this past year we hit a lot of personal milestones that felt really far fetch. We found out we were expecting our miracle girl on June 10th. We found out the morning we captured Elise & Taylor’s wedding, so looking back on their wedding day is even extra special to me. (Because, I wanted to tell EVERYONE!) And later in the summer we bought our first home, which as a small business owner, was a dream that I was not sure if we’d ever see true.

2022 was a year of up’s and downs. We learned a lot, met a lot of beautiful people, and had the opportunity to work with so many incredible people. 2023, I am really hoping to slow down a bit. Our baby is due next month and we checking off things on our to do list for her arrival. One of my biggest goals for this coming year is to have a slower autumn season. The past few years, we have had a whirlwind of a fall season. And, I am so thankful for that. But, with a baby on the way, I would love to slow down, get to do all of the cute autumn things with her (we have not had any time for any fall activities in years). I hope we continue to work with the best of the best, grow, and continue to do the work that we love.
