Chloe and Chris were a joy to work with! Their wedding kicked off our summer season last year. We were so eager for their wedding because not only did we know they had such a great team of vendors, but Chloe and Chris are great people. We met them for coffee the fall before their wedding, I was big and pregnant, Chloe was beaming as a newly engaged gal. Andrew and Chris hit it off talking about past work in similar fields. It didn’t feel like a client/photographer meeting, it felt like getting together with old friends.
Something that I have found very cool with big weddings, that just like living in a big town, you can make it feel intimate and small. I was looking back at the timeline for their day to gather all the vendor info, and I totally forgot that they had a fairly large wedding. It didn’t feel that way. It felt like such an intimate group. I guess that just says a lot about this amazing couple, they make everyone feel seen and loved around them.
The Hermitage is a venue that we’ve been lucky to work at a lot over the course of a decade. This venue never gets old. Their staff is so kind and we’ve known a few personally over the years. I am always amazed by how gorgeous the grounds are, no matter the time of year. This venue really doesn’t need much, but I was honestly floored by Chloe’s design choices for the space. The day was gorgeous, we could not of asked for a more perfect June wedding day.
Thank you again Chloe and Chris for having us capture your day!
We captured this day on 35 mm film, developed by The Find Lab, as well as digital.
